Well... no one ever said this game was easy. This is the 3rd time I came back here. Capturing a great scene was just a small hope for the sun was hiding behind the cloudy sky when we arrived. Dark grey, overcast and dull. Exercising patience as I waited for the light. Suddenly, just right before the sun was set, it splashed patches of light across the lake through broken clouds. Rewarding me an even more dramatic scenery. It was perfect!
All rules are made to be broken. Here I deliberately flouted the golden rule of third by placing the jetty and horizon slap bang in the middle of the frame. Usually that’s definite. But here? No.. the lines leading in the image are so strong, it just had to be done.
